This afternoon I crossed the Courtney Campbell Causeway with seatec in his truck and we saw a huge traffic jam. Cause of this was a motorcycle crash. We saw the guy (black guy, early thirties) laying on the floor. He did not wear a helmet and crashed his 2007 GSXR 600 in the middle guardrail going in the Tampa direction. The guy himself was on the other side of the guardrail, that's where seatec and I saw him going towards Clearwater. A bystander told us he did not make it. When we passed him up I could see he made a VERY hard hit on the pavement. Police and News haven't released the name of the guy. Only thing I know is like I said before, black dude, bald, early thirties, completely stock 07 gsxr 600... Anybody knows more?????????????
CLEARWATER, FL -- The eastbound lanes of the Courtney Campbell Causeway have re-opened after a fatal traffic crash.
Clearwater Police say a motorcycle hit a guardrail in the eastbound lanes, killing one person. Investigators don't believe any other vehicles are involved.
The victim's name has not been released.
