My new Ride... and wrecked old one

first off let me fill you in.. i wrecked my bike on SR52 in N GA mountains 6/26, we were shooting some video riding pretty hard.. then we decided to pack it in and head back (no the crash is not on video) we were on the last somewhat curvey road before we hit the truck to load up, and i was going around a left sweeping corner about 60-70mph which was slow because i have taken that corner at over 100mph before.. and the front end tucked on me. i slid about 30 yards total. ended up stoping when my back slamed into a dirt mound braking 3 vertebra's and 4 fossits (the things that hold musel to your spine) one lower left rib

well after a few weeks of laying on my back im able to walk around, still on light duty, cant really ride much either till my back gets healed all the way... approx 3 more weeks. well here are the pics of the bike 07 gsxr 1000

yea for the most part.. obviously my back hurts... i cant sit for long periods of time because it puts pressure on the vertebra's. and the doc said if i sit, or lift stuff than it will completely crush the vertebra's. right now they are only slightly compressed

they gave me perkasets, flexeral, and loratabs < spell check
for the pain. thats the only good part:biggrin:

i was wearing full leathers and that saved my skin... literally also i was wearing SIDI boots which held up great! not even a sore ankle! so I'm definitely a believer in full gear!

lol, well i don't know, the insurance company totaled it obviously, but they have not come to pick it up yet.. i had extra coverage for all my gear (leathers, helmet, etc) and they took that when they came out to inspect the bike, but they have not taken the bike.... guess ill give them a few weeks, but I'm not calling them and asking about it. ill wait maybe till the end of this month and if they don't come pick it up then yep, track whore she will be!

and yea its a hard way to get a new one lol. would of kept the old one had i known how painfull it would be lol... i been wanting the white and silver 08 since i seen it. I also like the all black 1000 but they were sold out.
