I need some advice.
You all know I'm riding that gsxr 600 to work everyday. Well.....My weekly schedule just got twice as busy. Aside from my job in Tampa at the Westin, I'll also start going to school in Largo to get my MBA in hospitality management next week AND I have joined a hospitality consulting firm as a part-time intern, which is located in Brandon.
My bike has been doing great without any huge issues BUT now I know I'm going to put a lot of miles on it between Brandon-Tampa-Largo EVERYDAY.......I'm worried that little 600 is going to be able to cope with it... It's not that it's acting up, but it's still a 600. Will the bike be fine or should I be on the lookout for more of a commuting bike (for now) like the Corie has, or one with a bigger engine....... I definitely don't want a cruiser or tourer, but I'd consider something like a fazer or something but ONLY if you guys think it's necessary......
Let me know if you have any advice...

lol I am sorry had to do that...
anyway ..
By you asking you must already have a bike in mind and are looking for us for support in your decison of going bigger.
If your bike is fine and your finances say to not incure any more expenses than your better of maintaining your bike and save some money.
If the expense becomes more than what it would cost for a down payment of a new bike than you would concider to purchase the new bike.
If your looking for a comfortable bike to ride all the time
BMW is a great choice of bike.
If your looking to make your woman happy than a harley would be good with saddle bags and a back rest
If your looking to just go bad ass to the bone than a 1000 of course..
It is just what you want to use it for that matters and ultimately what you need.
I personally have a favorite now with the naked busa it is a great riding bike and has all that you need
Also called BKing
http://www.suzuki-bk.com/
I would get it from powersports in clearwater
If your looking for a sport tourer
than

also another favorite of mine is

Especially now, I don't wanna get into buying a new bike. As you probably will now an MBA is not cheap, so I was more looking for a used bike. It's not about what I WANT, but like you said what I NEED!!!
I only need a bike for commuting, a bike that feels comfortable in traffic, my gsxr is fine, but it doens't like traffic too much. You and I both know what they are really made for and it's not for commuting...

well honestly I would look in to a car then.
if you are looking for a used bike then I would still look for a tourer it is going to be in better second hand than a street bike form a year old punk never changing oil kind of guy lol..
if not then maybe look in to a scooter they are very popular and also affordable rigth now..
If not the money like ctate once said and I quote.
The money you put in to a bike that you already own are better spent than money you would have to spend to buy a hole new or used bike.
How much money would you not save by spending it on to your existing bike.
sample transmission max $800
well you will not find a used bike for 800 that is better than yours.
or suspension work couple of hundred or whatever you need.
just something to think about.
or buy a growlingpurrkitten and hope that not all lights go out on the bike an clutch etc goes out and have to take it in for warranty every other month lol..
